Do Sirak - short lunch review

melon | May 22, 2006 03:24 PM

I found some decent Soon Du Bu Jigae at Do Sirak (DoSirak on Menupages) that cured a craving at lunch time today. It was definitely a little too heavy on the tofu but it had great flavor and a nice addition of fresh scallions as a garnish. It cost 8 bucks, which is usually how much I end up spending at the salad bar when I don't pay attention. It's a cute, informal, breezy lunch time place; I might have been disappointed if I'd scheduled a whole evening around it. No banchan, but I asked for a little side of kimchee and wasn't charged. My neighbor's Bi Bim Bap looked great.
