Single Cup Coffee - Techniques

Any ideas for alternative low-tech methods (with or without tube socks) and variations on cowboy coffee most appreciated.

Here is one method evolved from necessity. Bad coffee at work, too lazy to wash a french press, too cheap to make an entire drip-filter pot to share with colleagues, too busy to walk down the street to the nearest cafe.

Fill mug 1/3 with milk and set in microwave for 30 seconds. Meanwhile, fold coffee filter into quarters and open into a cone shape.
Stuff the cone loosely into the mug of hot milk. Fill the cone with a tablespoonful of coffee grounds and top with boiling water, taking care to keep the edges of the filter cone above the waterline at all times.
By the time you walk back to your desk and pull out the coffee filter into the bin, you have one perfect cup of cafe con leche.
