8 of us ate there Sat. nite knowing there wouldn't be a problem getting a table. Don't know why my friend bothered making a reservation, it's a quiet dining room altho the bar area is pretty jumping. Most diners were seated in the back area which seemed odd but maybe cuz the seats are cushioned back there. I think everyone was happy with their meals altho there weren't huge raves. I had a salad w/ greens, apples, two little gorgonzola puffs and some walnuts ($7). Good but not the best of that style I've ever had. The crab cake appetizer was my main course and these are still very good crab cakes (2 decent sized) with a nice aioli and some greens ($9). Also had a piece of the fontina, prosciutto, mushroom pizza which could have had a crisper crust but was okay ($6.50). Others had the fried calamari app (not crisp enough), hanger steak w/ what was advertised as a potato cake w/ bacon but was more like home fries, a special of halibut w/ black rice, sirloin and a couple chicken dishes. Our entrees ranged from $18-23 but the menu overall seems to have raised prices so where most entrees were below $20 when I was there a month or so ago, most were in the low $20's this time. Their flaky apple pie dessert was pretty good. Service was a little slow. Not quite as happy with it as I had been w/ the increased prices but it's a place to keep in mind for decent food and easy seating in the area.
