Wow! Stopped by today for a quick take-out lunch. Talked at length with John, the owner, really nice guy. He repeatedly stressed how authentic the food is at his new restaurant. He has another, in Billerica, but this one is larger, and just opened last week. I had a luncheon special of Sichuan Kung Bao Chicken, at John's suggestion. Flavorful dark meat chichen (as it should be), with scallions, peanuts, garlic, and chilis, in a slightly sweet brown sauce. Served with white rice, egg roll (not a fan of them but this one was OK with bits of pork), and hot pickled cabbage. Some of the best Chinese food I've had outside of Chinatown. I haven't delved deep enough into the menu to compare to Rice Garden, but there's a lot of potential here. I'm looking forward to returning soon.
