Shakas, Bacon Fried Rice & Real Shave Ice. Comfort to da Max.

First, thanks to the perseverance of ipse dixit posting at least twice over the years in search of real shave ice, and responses from nirque, npron, and foodiebnp1, over the last year, which lead me to going to Shakas three times in the last two weeks fo dat shave ice. But wen I go I keep look'n at da menu, and...

Today I finally go down Alhambra town to try dat Bacon Fried Rice. I wen fo da breakfest. I first notice dat dis place, it must be on island time. Breakfast start at 11:00 am. So Hang Loose Bhah. Dat Bacon Fried Rice is so good and it is served all day / night. Maybe better den my favorite place at da Gazabo on Maui. Pan Fried rice wit lots of bacon, Portuguese sausage, green onion, kamaboko and egg – Moist and Yum Yum!. Da whole pan of dat rice is served upside-down on your plate and it make it look good wit dat green onion on top. No need to add anything. Dat taste, it make me close my eyes and grinz. The combined flavors of Bacon, Portuguese sausage, Onion, Fried rice with Soy sauce make dat island feeling of “What we do’n next, huh? Drive to da North Shore fo some shave ice or wat? come to mind. But when I opened my eyes, crap, I was still in Alhambra. Good news is a real shave ice machine jus like da ones on da islands sits right on dat counter wit all da flavors. I got da small one. Real shave ice – not a Mainland sho-cone.
