Every year when I go to Texas for Thanksgiving, I try to bring something interesting from SF to eat. In the early years, it was easy -- sourdough bread, Cafe Trieste coffee, Molinari Salami, etc. Last year, I took Banh Mi which were very well received.
Any recommendations for what I should take this year?
I'm currently considering crab, but only if I can get good, fresh (but already dead) crab that's cheap enough that I can serve a decent size portion to 40+ people. Any suggestions?
