Anyone tired this place?
They serve breakfast all day. They make the mayonaise for the hollandaise sauce for the eggs Benedict. There are biscuits and gravy and a good looking stack of pancakes. They also make their own tortillas for the huevos rancheros. Anyone know anything about complimentary mimosas?
They also serve char-broiled burgers and steaks. The greens are organic. There is homemade spicy peanut brittle and fudge.
Run by a husband and wife team, Christine & Johan. It seems she worked at Peter D's on Broadway and he worked at Tadich Grill. In addition to some of her own recipes, she is using some from her mom who had a few restaurants in Marin ... but don't know which restaurants.
This restaurant got slammed by a local website (which never tried the food) because it replaced Kabul City and it seems the decor seemed too toursity, kitschy. The owner's sister is responsible for the ... stuff.
It sounds like a charming mom and pop with home cooked food.
I'm about to decsend on one of my tours of Fisherman's Wharf .. yeah, Fisherman's Wharf. There are actually a bunch of breakfast spots there that sound promising. I'm wondering if anyone has tried Beach Street Grill?
There are a few outdoor tables and they are nice to people with dogs.
... or so I read elsewhere on the web. I'm intrigued.
