Senegalese - yummy

I'm sorry, I've been meaning to post this for months! Found a very yummy little place called either "Chez Maty" or "Sisters" depending on whether you look at the sign outside or the menu. It's at 62 E 116th, west of Madison. I was there in the springtime. It's a small place, and honestly you will probably have a long wait for your food. I suspect that they have a very small kitchen. But the vibe is very nice, there was a big family group celebrating when we were there, and they all seemed to be regulars. Everyone speaks french, but of course you don't have to. Anyway, I had the most delicious whole, grilled Tilapia, with yassa-type onion relish/sauce, SO GOOD. My husband had grilled chicken of some kind, which was good, but didn't hold a candle to my fish... Anyway, it was a wonderful chow experience, and we keep talking about going back. I hope it's still there!!! Needless to say it was beyond reasonable. I urge everyone to try it, and to report back. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!
