Seeking advice: Pick from these options for a "Last Supper"

I have been perusing these boards for about a month now and I am ready to take the plunge and ask a question! My parents are dropping me off at school in LA. We are avid foodiesand I have 3 meals with them to have really good food without having to fork out my own cash!

We will arrive on a sun night but we are driving from southern Oregon so we aren't sure on arrival. I know Chinese isn't everyones favorite in la but we really enjoy it and well be close to the SGV. Are sea harbor/elite only good for dim sum? Is there someplace better for dinner? There are so many options it's kind of mind boggling.

For lunch I am trying to pick between Pizzeria Mozza and Itzik Hagadol. I know those are both completely different but we were just in Tel Aviv at their restaurant there and have been craving mezze. But mozza is supposed to be so great!

For my dinner or "last supper" as I see it I am thinking something more upscale. I really enjoy tasting menus but anything inventive is good as well.

I have animal, providence and bazaar as tops. However I still just can't decide. Basically I need other people to make my decisions! If you have any insight it is greatly appreciated
