just found a very very good new thai place near indian row! i can be eh about thai, as so much of it is so-so, but we'd walked past all my favs for friday and i was getting cranky and this place was formerly a very good little italian restaurant, anyway we were lured in.

for apps we had the 'silver bags', a chicken/shrimp shamai type thing and the koong salong, a rice filo wrapped shrimp. both of them were excellent. (about 5$@)

for main course, i had the 'geyser shrimp in clay pot' which was cooked with rice noodles. this was very very good. my so had red curry duck, which he loved (i can't eat curry, so i'll take his word for it.) (main courses are about 12-15$)

the minuses were the sticky rice was too sticky, the jasmine rice wasn't jasminey enuf, the wine (monsoon valley brand form thailand (?!) was not good) but these were minor annoyances to a very good meal!
