Ok... In the interest of full disclosure, I am NOT a wine-snob. I like wine, and I have enjoyed many fine glasses/bottles. But I have been known to drink the cheap stuff, too. It's not as if I don't know the difference, but I think of spending more than 10$ on a bottle as a definite special treat luxury, and don't do it so often. There are usually a couple of types I'll go-to because they're tasty enough to drink, but cheap enough to buy.
Ok, having said that, I have been buying this wine called Searidge, a California Cabernet Sauvignon, 2005, from Napa -- and it is 3.49 - 4.99 a bottle in the supermarket. That's cheap, even for me. Except, I find it remarkably drinkable. It's not amazing, but amazing for the price. Has anyone else encountered it?
Anyone want to make me feel like I'm not either
b)in my quest for cheapness, finally past the point of having taste any more? :-)
