Since we've moved to SD a half year ago - we've been searching for a few "food-stuff". Having previously lived in Honolulu and LA, we've kinda gotten used to a few things and am wondering if anyone can impart their "Chowhound wisdom" upon us....
We've been searching for:
Broasted Chicken - not fried, not roasted... broasted... to us it's one of the "best things.." we used to go to a couple of places in LA (Chicken Box) and one big chain in HNL(Zippy's). The flavorful crust like fried - the moistness of roasted.
Good Mongolian BBQ - With the weather changing slightly for the cooler - we've been having the munchies for a good Mongolian BBQ....
24 Hour Korean Food - In our old neighborhood we had at least 4 24 hour Korean Food restaurants. You know, it's one of those things - you may never go to one - but at least you have that as an option over say.... Denny's, etc, etc, etc.....
