While living in Princeton from 2002 through 2004 we received a restaurant recommendation from a friend with whom we've since lost touch. The restaurant she recommended was probably located in Manhattan, although one of the other boroughs is possible. We don't remember the name of the restaurant, but our friend described it as a place whose sine qua non was an absolute multitude of different pastas and a huge variety of different sauces for those pastas. It was a mix-and-match, create-your-own pasta-combo kind of a joint.
