Seafood Paradise, Rosemead: A Pictorial Essay

Verdict: I think this is the current best upscale seafood market in the San Gabriel Valley (and that's saying a lot). The prices here are a bit steep, but everything here is unquestionably fresh - Actually, much of their inventory is still alive in their holding tanks! The place is super clean, and there is no fishy smell (just like a seafood purveyor should smell)...

If you just want a tilapia, you're probably still better off buying from nearby 99 Ranch Market or Hawaii Supermarket. But if you want to serve mantis shrimp or fresh eel to your guests, then you need to visit this place.
