Have a babysitter for Saturday night, and need help for where to eat....
The wife loves Craigie St. Bistro, but it's just TOO expensive. Would love to go someplace with the ambience and yummyness of Craigie St, but not the wallet-busting....
We like Scutra, and we've been to, and liked, the Italian place in Watertown Square, but our favorite place ever was EAT in Union Square, which closed a few years ago. Casual feel, Charlie welcoming us, GREAT food, plates that didn't match...
Any place like that?
(we're in Lexington, so I'd prefer not to drive to Hyannis or similar distances...)
