Driving through charming wakefield and wanted to stop for food, but didn't want to be taken in by the overpriced junk often served in "resort" towns, and hadn't done any research about what restaurants that were worthwhile there. Went to Sandy's pizza, because we thought that we could get a cheap meal, and how can you screw up pizza? Well, it was overpriced ($10 for a small small), and tasted, in the words of my companion "like this is where MCain's stole the recipe from for their frozen pizza". PLus the waitress/owner reprimanded me on not eating the dressing on my salad. Truly, a must-miss...
The good news is that the cranberry bars at the wakfield bakery down the street are excellent!
Can anyone recommend someplace in wakefield, for next time?
