Samosas at Saini Sweet Shop and Beef Banh Mi at Sugar Bowl

Had samosas at Saini Sweet Shop, Somerville, they were served already topped with tamarind sauce and spicy onion....still amazing, best samosas I have had at any restaurant ever. And 50 cents each! If you haven't had them yet, go! You can get them take-out and heat them in a toaster oven. Also shared some lunch specials (chickpeas, mater paneer, chicken curry) which were fine but not outstanding.

Was at Sugar Bowl and Super 88 yesterday and ordered a beef banh mi. They grill the meat when you order, so it took over 15 mins, but a great sandwich in the end, good crusty bread, sweet strips of grilled beef, lots of vegetables, it wasn't very spicy, but I could have easily asked for more chili sauce or hot peppers. Also had the lime jasmine tea which is really tasty, but when your beverage costs the same as a large beef sandwich you know something's wrong....from now on I will be making my own lime jasmine tea at home. (Limes are 5 for a dollar at Super 88)...
