So after hearing so much about Sam Lagrassa's I finally made it over there for lunch. People kept telling me it was great and I could not believe it because I thought that there was no such thing in Boston. Even in Newton and Brookline you cannot find the kind of pastrami that I am talking about. I found it yesterday. 9lives set me straight when I said that it did not exist. He told me that I was wrong and you know what? He was right.
I had a hot pastrami sandwich that was tender and just melted in your mouth. I even thought it better than Carneige. I love Carneige but you need a mouth as wide as a river to get around it. It was a perfect size and the quality of the meat was excellent. They look like they do a ton of caterings as I saw lots of platters being wheeled out. I wish they had another location, it's sooo good.
