Restaurants & Bars 2

Saigon, Richmond.

The new place next to the Pacific East mall off Central in Richmond. Despite the name, this is not a Vietnamese restaurant. It refers to the district in Hong Kong by that name. It serves both dim sum and noodles and jook, so competes with the Dai Mou and the dim sum place in the mall. There were only two of us so unfortunately can't sample too much of the food. Dim sums were on carts and trays. We sampled a number of the dishes, nothing extraordinarily outstanding, but certainly an excellent place. The jook we had was excellent Cantonese style jook. The bill came to about $15 per person. Surprisingly on a saturday afternoon the place was not full.
