Saigon Pate Sandwich

Joshuah M | Dec 31, 2003 12:47 PM

I just had one of the cheapest and best lunches ever: a saigon pate sandwich. I bought it from a small cart in the ground floor level of the Chinatown Eatery. The sandwich was only $2.00 and consisted of two types of pates, French mayonaise, chili paste, fresh cilantro, carrot, onion, and cucumber all on a fresh French baguette. Excellent. I plan to go back and try the BBQ beef sandwich, their only other choice.
