RW at Vintage

3 of us tried out Vintage for the first time on Friday.

2 orders of of large portion calamari qnd one bruschetta on ciabatta. Great taste but the chunks of tomato and mozzerella were too large to fit easily on the bread.

I didn't try the breadbasked due to allergy, but it arrived warm, was plentiful and looked great.

They were very attentive to my allergy. They were very accodomating with the allergy and the manager stopped by to see if nutmeg was okay.

For main courses 2 ordered the prime rib with mushroom suce and a choice of side. (1 grilled asparagus and 1 loaded baked potato). Both were very satisfied.

I had the winner of the night, the harvest ravioli. Butternut squash ravioli with chunks of chicken and cranberries in a marsala cream sauce. It was a bit sweet and rich but wonderful. Even the die hard meat eaters wished they had ordered it.

The difficulties began around dessert. We ordered them with dinner and there was 1 out of the four choices that I could eat due to allergy.

Coffee arrived promptly, then 20 minutes later our server came to apologize about the wait. 10 more minutes passed and the manager came to apologize and took our cocktails and coffee off the bill.

Another 5 minute delay before serving tasteless 'pie' good carrot cake and a miniscule cheesecake.

We paid the bill and left quickly as it was now almost three hours since we arrived. The server mentioned they are expanding RW a week.

I will definitely go back for the ravioli but skip dessert next time.
