On a whim I decided to check it out. Ate at the bar, service was great and it's an interesting room. Food was mediocre at best and the unfortunate truth is that the best part of the meal was the thin "naan" that they serve with a cilantro (and bean?) spread. First course was a cold carrot saffron soup or mixed greens. Ordered the salad which was barely dressed and had 3 slivers of tomato on top. No thanks.
I cannot recall the other entree choices, but I went with the recommended tandoori chicken salad. Served over a yogurt dressing and a pile of cucumbers. It was okay, but really just okay. And for that, I'd rather get a $3 wrap off the felafel truck on Mass Ave. at MIT.
Dessert was khulfi (sp?) ice cream or a trio of sorbet. Went with the sorbets which were very poorly made. Better texture from Richie's Italian Ice. I can't recall all the flavors, but think there was watermelon, strawberry and a mango or passion fruit - something tropical anyway.
A great spot for drinks, but I'd never bother with the food again.
