Checked this new place out last night after seeing a blurb about it in Time Out.
Definitely shows potential...and seems that they're looking to go head-to-head with the supposed "big boys" in NYC.
Nice bright space, bar still under construction (BYOB for now) and all the usual items on the menu, plus their own house smoked pastrami.
I was there at about 9:30 with a friend, and was seated immediately, only to find out that they were out of brisket and pulled pork. Ended up with the pastrami and a half-rack of dry-rub ribs, both of which were very good.
Interested in hearing from anyone else who has been there...especially frome some true barbecue experts...something my Staten Island upbringing prevents me from being personally.
