I am going to Rome with my family for a birthday dinner at le pergola. I arrive sat am, leave mon am and was trying to plan some meals around the big night. We're staying fairly new Spanish steps.
Sat lunch: keep it light. Pizza, ice cream. I was thinking rosciolli in campo di fiori
Sat pm: le pergola
Sun lunch: thinking la Rosetta or piperno for Jewish cooking. Probably a something trad.
Sun dinner: somewhere casual and buzzy.
What do you think? And what wd you suggest for sun dinner? We're staying in an apt so I was also thinking of picking up some food for Sunday . I think I geared about a fancy food emporio centrally located called gusto or something?
Any thoughts wd be gratefully accepted. Travelling incidentally with a Michelin star snob dad.
