Round Rock visits - help a Boston hound out of a rut?

I visit the Round Rock area about once a month (from Boston), and could use some advice on new places to try. When I go out with friends or colleagues, I make them choose the restaurant, but for evenings when I'm on my own it's getting pretty boring. I'm looking for places in Austin and/or Round Rock with good food that will be pleasant for dining alone after work.

Few food constraints - No pork, no sushi, no alcohol, red meat in moderation, trying to eat at least healthy-ish, dinner budget of up to $30, not a fan of national chains at all, not a vegetarian but I like tofu.

Of the places I've been to so far, East Side Cafe is my favorite (and Uchi, but that's too high-end and better with friends). I'm still not entirely sold on Tex-Mex, but could try more: I've been to Chuy's, Z'Tejas, Antonio's and La Palappa - all better than what passes for Mexican food in Boston (we do have great Salvadoran taquerias, but that's different), no places that really stood out as favorites. I've been to Rudy's and Country Line for BBQ, but would love to find a BBQ place where they also served vegetables. When I've stayed over at the Domain, I like the vegetarian options at The Steeping Room.

Any tips on new places I should try? Thanks!
