Review: Coco Pazzo (Mont-Tremblant)

My wife and I were at Mont-Tremblant last week and had some fabulous meals. We opted to stay in the pedestrian village the entire time, despite the encouragement of Chowhounders to venture out to St-Jovite.

The restaurant that stood out the most was Coco Pazzo. My wife started with the goat cheese salad, with roasted red peppers, potato and apple/quince jam. I started with the spaghetti aglio olio, which was fantastic: the pasta had a wonderful flavor with the garlic and anchovies and was not overly oily. I highly recommend this dish! My wife then had the manicotti, while I had veal medallions (they were out of the veal chop and offered this instead). It was cooked perfectly and was very tasty, but was an extremely small portion. Our waiter (I forget his name) was wonderfully attentive and, overall, the experience was wonderful. We'll definitely be returning to Coco Pazzo next time we're in Tremblant.
