Returning Native ISO Ice Cream Sundae a la Bailey's

I grew up in Boston and fondly remember Bailey's ice cream sundaes. These were served in little metal dishes that could really not contain the toppings too well. There was one downtown and one in Wellesley, amongst a few others.

The Bailey's all closed before I moved to California, but there were still a few spots serving up pretty good ice cream sundaes when I left. Sadly, ice cream, like pizza, is not as good out here. And those places that do have serviceable sundaes serve them in sad little cups with plastic spoons.

I'm coming to visit in July, and would love to indulge in an ice cream sundae that is excellent both in the presentation AND the actual ice cream. (Toppings should be good as well....I'm into hot fudge, of course.) I know Friendly's still exists and serves sundaes in glass, but is there somewhere better?

Any suggestions? I will trade good burrito suggestions in SoCal in exchange! :)
