Thought Id share with you the details of a lovely dinner at Yoyo (bring your own wine) last night.....as I have not seen any mention on this restaurant in recent posts...
Service was perfect. The hightlight was an amazing foie gras creme brulee appetizer, absolute heaven! Perfect caramelized sugar topping, and creamy foie gras filling..a must! The scallop carpacio was also impressive, although a tad small in serving size.
Main entree was venison served rare and a lamb/risotto dish. Both excellent, but by that point, I think my taste buds were still reeling over the foie gras creme brulee...
Dessert was good, but not astounding. We shared the molten chocolate cake with coconut/vanilla icecream. Not incredibly original, but still very good nevertheless.
Im not sure if Yoyo has gone down in popularity, as I have not heard much about it in the past year, however, the entire restaurant was full and service was great. Great BYOW place! Cheers!
