We have a long weekend visit coming up in NOLA. We definitely enjoy good food, but this trip is going to be somewhat casual, not necessarily the finest dining as in jackets and ties.
There are a few places that are a must, Casamento's, Acme, Napoleon House (for snacks)...but I have a few unknowns, and some ideas that I would like opinions on... or complete other suggestions, whichever.
I have 2 dinners in the FQ/Marigny
Places that I've never tried that sound interesting (PINTSI): Bourbon House, Desire Oyster Bar, GW Fins, Irene's Cuisine, La Louisiane, Louisiana Bistro, Phillip Chan's Asian-Cajun Bistro (OMG, what's that about?), Red Fish Grill, Deanie's, Deja Vu, Petunia's, Port of Call, Muriel's, Feelings, Snug Harbor.
A Friday breakfast in the FQ/Marigny
PINTSI: Annette's, Fiorella's, Louis XVI, The Corner Oyster Bar, Deja Vu, Krystal's La Chatelaine, Magnolia Cafe, Per Antoine, Petunia's, Muriel's, Rib Room, La Peniche.
1 Dinner near Magazine (we'll have lunch at Casamento's, then shop around)
PINTSI: Dick & Jenny's, Domilese's, La Crepe Nanou, Nile Cafe, St. Charles Tavern, Upperline, Winnie's Artsy Cafe, Pascal's Manale.
1 Lunch near City Park (NOMA)
PINTSI: Cafe Degas, Liuzza's by the Track, Ralph's on the Park.
Any suggestions or comments are very welcome! Thanks in advance.
