Lima has become quite the food destination over the past decade. I went with my team to a brand-spanking-new restaurant on Monday night. This was a quickie business trip, I don't live in Lima.
It was called IK (ee-kah) and is only two weeks old. It's the initials of the owner/chef who died in December and his brother is carrying on the torch for him - left his own restaurant in Barcelona to run this one in Lima.
Apparently the owner/chef and some of the team came from El Bulli if I am not mistaken. I didn't quite get the whole story but I found this below.
