A charming and inviting restaurant in Rosemont (2636 Bellechasse at the corner of 2nd avenue). There are 14 seats and they are open for breakfast and lunch.
They serve Quebecois food, such as Pate Chinois, Cigare Aux Choux, Boudin and Roti de Porc. One special of the day. They announce them at the beginning of the week on their Facebook page
The specials are in fact, a three course meal for $9 (soup, main, dessert) including tax, but not tip. It is run by two brothers.
Similar to Nouveau Palais, minus the alcohol license, the DJs and the hipsters. Or in other words an old casse-croute taken over by a younger generation that wants to hold on to tradition while at the same time making things seem fresh and new.
