In a follow-up to a post about coming to Boston and asking about restaurant week, I've abandoned that option, and have now been scouring the boards for some good restaurants.
We're from Philly, and love going to eat. We're not rich, so we try to look for foods that are reasonable, but don't mind splurging if it's that good.
We are staying in Boston at the Courtyard Marriott on Tremont from Friday - Sunday. So we'll have 2 nights for dinner, 3 lunches, and lots of time for snacking.
Here are some of the things I've put together. Does anyone have any opinions on these? I'm a seafood lover but the fiancee isn't; we're not into drinking when we go out to eat, just want good food. We do enjoy a good steak, in addition to my love of seafood. Is there any seafood in season right now not to miss?
Flour Bakery & Cafe
Mr. Bartley's Burger Cottage
EVOO (dinner on Saturday)
Taranta or Sorrelina for dinner?
Pop's or Metropolis (near our hotel)
The Blue Room
Union Bar & Grill (brunch)
