By SO and I will be coming once again to NY for 3 nights.
I've been to NY many times and like others plan my holiday around where I'll be eating. Some of my recent past favorites have been Telepan, Perilla, Degustation, and (believe it or not) Stanton Social.
The only place I've decided on for sure is SHO. I'm hoping to book it for the Friday night. It being in the financial district would I assume correctly that a Friday evening would be more 'abuzz' than the rest of the weekend?
Here are the other dinner's I'm considering:
Scarpetta, Locanda Verde, or Apizz...i would likely only do 1 of the 3 (I'm only interested in 1 Italian meal -aside from pizza of course)....does anyone know if any of them have corkage and what the corkage cost is?
The Moderne bar (possibly on the Sunday night for their $0 corkage)
We love all types of foods. Our only constraint would be budgetary....basically SHO would be our 'splurge'. Trying to keep the price to under $180 including a reasonable priced bottle of wine tax & tip.
