The Boston area used to have a small chain of noodle restaurants called Goemon, there was one by BU and another by MIT. I only got to eat there a few times but was impressed not just by the noodles or the broth, but especially by this particular condiment dispenser I've never seen since.
The tables had these mills for grinding roasted sesame seeds into your food. If I recall, these were disposable, probably filled at the factory. I've never found anything like them and I've been looking for many, many years.
Does anyone know anything about these or where they can be found?
EDIT: Damn, I feel silly. I just found them on Amazon for, like $4.00.
Anyway, anyone have fond memories of that place?
