Hello first post. So if i am out of line just slam me!
We are a group of six friends that are traveling to france to spend as much money as we can. All jokes aside our aim is to stay in the finest regional hotels. We have stayed at the crayere in Reims before and loved it. That gives you an idea of what we are after. We seek the best/ most interesting rather than the most expensive.
We will dine inhouse when it makes sense to do so ie at the crayere.
But we are also seeking advice on other non restaurant food wine experience.
We plan to travel for around 2 weeks, with easy drives between destinations.
Hostellerie De Levernois
Le pres de eugenie
Hotel du Palais Biarritz
La co(o)rniche arcachon
Villa clarisse st martin de rey
Are there any suggestions to alternative accomodation?
Our route from montpellier to Biarritz needs some interesting excursions along the way. Restaurants, quality wine producers, food producers, fromagers, butchers, epicerie, etc.
Any feedback would be most welcome
