Some of you may have seen the recent NY Times article on "red sauce" Italian restaurants -- old-school, family-run places that were "night on the town" destinations in decades past.
That article mentioned a few local spots -- Patsy's, Gino's, Bamonte's, and others.
Can any of you Chowhounds recommend other restaurants that have a similar feel and haven't become "nouveau"?
