Tried the place for the first time: the char kwee tiauw or more commonly called combination chow fun elsewhere. This is the Malaysian version which had thinner noodle but still wide. Very tasty indeed. Lots of eggs, large shrimps, veggies, beansprouts and good wok flavor too. The soy sauce penetrates all the ingredients well. Expertly cooked and probably as good as the version in Malaysia/Singapore.
Also tried the fried hawker noodle (not the Hokkian mee): basically similar style as above although I did not detect any eggs nor shrimps. Lots of tasty chicken pieces. Excellent as well.
This place knows how to make fried noodles !
I also saw nasi lemak on other tables but did not look too appealing - few ingredients but lots of rice.
The free roti is still offered and quite tasty.
This place is very clean and looked upscale.
