Went to a ribbon cutting and opening of Red 7 on Tuesday night - new restaurant at the Pacific Design Center. I got to meet and talk to Wolfgang Puck - which was pretty exciting....more exciting than the food...Guests sampled chinese chicken salad, peanut noodles, sushi, miso cod, etc. They also passed around the tuna cones (a la Spago amuse buche). All above mentioned were fine - but not thrilling. If the Cheescake Factory makes it, and they've been making it for years, should Wolfgang still be serving it?
