We start our trip with dinner with dinner at Troisgros. We had our 1st 3 star meal there 22 years ago, and a chef friend says it is still his favorite place outside of Paris. Then we go to our B&B outside of Saulieu. We will not be dining at Lameloise, Loiseau or La Cote St-Jacques, one REALLY grand meal a week is enough. We intend to go out each day, for 4 days to the charming villages, ruins and vineyards from our central location.
But where to eat? Loiseau des Vignes in Beaunne is on the list because we can have a less grand version of Loiseau with sereral great wines by the glass. But we need a few bistros and country cooking to go with all this luxe. Please help. We finish with a week in Paris dedicated to chocolates and pastry!
