Recommendations for Chinese New Years Dinner in Chinatown

I've checked the board for recommendations on Chinese restaurants in Chinatown and saw info on dim sum and just general good places to dine, but I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations for Chinese New Year.

I'm planning a dinner with a group of friends on Chinese New Year Day (Feb 1), and had originally planned to do some "research" at different restaurants I've tried in the past and some I've heard of. However, my crazy schedule has not allowed me to get down there more than once in the past couple of weeks. I went to Evergreen and found it was okay, but not quite what I was looking for.

My challenge is balancing the needs of my dinner companions and my own desires for a multi course Chinese banquet dinner (I'm Chinese and I was raised by a mom who is a fantastic cook when it comes to szechuan & mandarin style cooking, plus my parents ran a restaurant for years and we would have 10 course New Year dinners). One of my friends has a shellfish allergy and a few get squeamish when the head is attached to their entree. I told the squeamish ones that they're going to have to tough it out (or we're going to have to throw a napkin over the offending head). I figure we can pick enough non-shellfish dishes in ten courses, so the friend with the allergy can get a decent meal without a trip to the hospital, and the rest of us can get some lobster and other new year specialties.

Any recommendations?
