We will be visiting Paris shortly, staying in the 11th, near Voltaire. I've heard that in general lunch offers a better deal than evening meals - however we are planning to eat out 'reasonably' in the evening - we would like to sample traditional french 'bistro' fare, in local restaurants that hopefully won't be touristy! Also, we don't really want to spend more than 30euro per head plus wine (we may go for house carafe, or splurge).
I have done a bit of research and my 'shortlist' includes: Melac; La Muse Vin; Les Belles Miettes; Au Vieux Chene, Le Chateaubriand, Chez Paul, and La Dame Brune.
I would be very grateful if anyone provide me with feedback on them? Is it wise to book? Are there others of similar price and ambiance that people could recommend in the 11th?
