I will be in HK shortly on business and have 1 or 2 mornings & afternoons where I can get out and try some dim sum (hopefully) or other options. The problem is that I will be alone, I don't speak Cantonese (although I presume that won't be a huge problem in HK), and I'm allergic to shellfish (argh!)(It is a shame, I'm very adventurous otherwise). Any tips on good spots for solo dining, and how to verify whether ingredients won't send me to the hospital? Much obliged.
