We're coming for a second trip to Chicago the first week of April. We'll be staying in the Bridgeport neighborhood but travelling all over.
Last time our memorable meals were at Nacional 27, India Garden (is that the name? Second floor place across the Red Roof Inn on Ontario) and a Middle Eastern place called, I think, the Nile, down toward the University of Chicago.
This time we'd like to try an ethnic restaurant of Eastern European extraction (Polish, Lithuianian, etc.) And we'd appreciate any other "Ya-gotta-go-there!" suggestions. Doesn't have to be fancy, doesn't have to be cheap -- just has to taste good.
And we'd especially appreciate the name of a quick-turnaround place near Second City.
Thanks in advance.
