Help! Need rec for (semi) private dining room for small retirement party (Calgary)

My sister in law is planning a small retirement party for my father in law, to be held in Calgary next Friday evening. She has asked me for a recommendation for a private or semi-private dining room in a restaurant that is, to use her words, "not too pricey".

There will be 8 adults and 4 kids in the group (kids ages 2 through 12). We don't want to cater to the kids' food needs in our restaurant choice (they'll eat anything or nothing, regardless), just our need to not disturb other diners with their noise/movement.

We had originally thought of Salt Lik (not my favourite place, but it's centrally located and has a private room downstairs), but it's booked. And my father in law wanted to go to Namskar (he loves Indian food), but they need a larger group to book their private room.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
