I'm going to be in DC this Wednesday for a quick visit, planning to spend the afternoon at the National Gallery before heading over to the Kennedy Center to see a friend in a performance. We have after-show late dinner plans, but I'm looking for a lunch rec to make the most of the trip. Looking for something tasty, unique, and not too expensive, and also comfortable for a single diner (eating at a bar is totally fine, almost even my preference.) I'm open to any types of cuisine or style of food, just want to sample something different from my hometown Philly haunts.
Any suggestions most appreciated!
