In the macchiato, a deep, bitter shot of espresso, the weight of the roast mildly tempered by a touch of acidity. Nothing like the exuberant fruit and sweetness of the ones from say, Federation Coffee, this one was more reserved. OK foam, just enough to soften the coffee a bit.
Good eclair, smooth starchy coffee filling, the choux pastry slightly crusty and tender.
They sell a variety of cakes, pastries, cooked food, as well as a small selection of cheeses, condiments, sweets, ingredients and raw items (e.g. pasta).
