Raga... Wild Boar revisited

had great dinner with 10 people at Raga last night - ordered just about everything on the menu, and everything was very good. the highlights were the Wild Boar and the Mussels appetizer. the Wild Boar is as good as ever! the boar is slow cooked in a wonderful curry based sauce that has a deep, rich and slightly piquant flavor; the meat is fork tender, and so flavorful, not at all gamey. love the way it's served with a nice side of coconut rice and watercress salad on the plate. everyone in our group was won over by this dish. the mussels are done is an amazing lemon grass broth that has a fiery finish and a super rich in flavor. our table finished off every drop of 2 bowls with spoons. the generous plates full of warm toasted pita and homemade humus that they serve with the meal and went perfectly with everything. nice wine selection and excellent service too!
