Great forum here- after reading a lot of posts, we've settled and reserved a few restaurants in Tokyo. My wife and I love sushi but are concerned that we might have *too* much sushi on the list. We're going to Kyoto afterwards and will be focusing on other types of cuisines as well.
Sunday - arrive afternoon, dinner TBD (potentially with a local friend of a friend)
Monday early morning - Sushi Dai (Tsukiji)
Monday lunch - Monjayaki in Tsukishima?
Monday dinner - Sushi Iwa (Ginza)
Tuesday breakfast - Omusubi Gonbei?
Tuesday lunch - Sushi Taichi (Ginza)
We'll also try to fit in some Ramen from the ramen street in Tokyo Station... somehow.
