Okay, so we arrive Thursday early evening at SFO. We've decided to stay with family in Sebastopol Thursday night. Best idea seems to be to get something to eat, miss a bit more traffic, then head up.
So we're looking for something either close to the airport or easy to get to along the way up that will still be close enough that we're not going to waste time in idling on the highway. The interest here would be really good "ethnic" food. See here: http://www.chowhound.com/topics/522421 Especially love Thai, regional Mexican, Indian, Malaysian, Indonesian, Vietnamese, and Japanese. Hopefully it won't be a place where we'll have to wait too long to get in.
Okay, so second task is lunch the next day. We'll be leaving Sebastopol around lunch time and will want to get a meal within an hour, probably. A round about trip is not out of the question. We don't have to be in a hurry to get anywhere. So travelling along the coast, through Napa, or anything like that is fine. Obviously, given the location, ethnic isn't a high priority. Given the weather, I'll probably be forced to bring pants, dammit, so we could hit a place that is business casual if it's especially good. I don't want to spend $40 a piece on lunch that's pretty good, though. I'd rather spend $100 a piece on lunch that's fantastic.
Thanks for any help...
