Was in paris in october and with the help of this board, my mother and i ate like queens. By far our favorite meal was Chez L'ami Jean- the Eggs with mushrooms and rice pudding could let a girl die happy. But, we also loved Chez Josephine- the food and the bustle within!
My mom has decided to take my dad back in march - his first trip, her now second. They will be hitting L'ami Jean, and based on the board's chatter le regalade and Ze kichen Gallerie. They wanted to fill the 4th night with Chez Josephine but because of the odd days the restaurants are open and closed, they cant fit it in.
So, they need a substitute for classic french cooking and boisterous crowd that is open on the weekends. Le FLO brasseries are out, as we hit bofinger post opera and were largely unimpressed.
Any guidance is, as always, greatly appreciated you are all truly a plethora of knowledge.
